Cuisine
At altitude, taste becomes clearer. Our culinary philosophy centers on simplicity, seasonality, and the finest alpine ingredients sourced from the surrounding terrain.
Philosophy
We believe that nourishment at altitude serves a purpose beyond sustenance. Each meal is an opportunity for presence, for connection to the landscape and to the seasons that shape it.
Our kitchen works with local producers, foragers, and artisans from the Engelberg region. Menus shift with the seasons, reflecting what is available at that moment—never forced, never surplus. This creates a natural rhythm to dining at SÉRAC.
Meals are unhurried. There are no rush hours, no pressure. Guests dine when they are ready, in spaces designed for contemplation and conversation.
Experiences

Seasonal Lunch
Lighter fare celebrating the day's foraging and market finds. Seasonal vegetables, light proteins, and preparations that honor simplicity.
Evening Dinner

In-Room Dining
For those seeking solitude, meals can be arranged in your residence with the same care and intention as our communal dining spaces.
To eat at altitude is to taste clarity itself.
